Muffies

I feel as though muffins are a controversial baked good.

In my opinion, a good muffin is hard to come across. I’ve had my fair share of wack muffins. Hard as rocks, flavorless, dry, and just straight up weird.

A good muffin is moist, a perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet-to be a cupcake, but sweet enough to not taste like cardboard).

A good technique to put that extra pizzaz on your muffins is to dip them in melted butter and then roll them in something sweet, whether it be sugar, a cinnamon/brown sugar/ white sugar mix, powdered sugar, the possibilities are endless. Once you let the butter set, it hardens with the sweet coating and your left with a BOMBIN glaze.

If you wanna get really crazy, you can cut the middles out of the muffins before you dip them in the butter so you have the aesthetics of a donut, in muffin-y form.

->butter makes everything better

The wonderful world of chocolate chips

No doubt, chocolate chips are probably the most versatile baking ingredient ever made. You can melt them, freeze them, re-melt, mold, mix, use them in cakes, brownies, frosting cookies, YULE LOGS. But lets not forget that the chips don’t stop at your classic semi-sweet. These days, there’s milk, dark, white, peanutbutter, butterscotch, cinnamon…you name it, its in chip form.

However, my favorite use of the semi sweet chocolate chip is the classic chocolate chip cookie.

Simple. Elegant. Classy. Crowd favorite. And if done correctly, can be a culinary masterpiece.

Personally i like big chewy chocolate chip cookies ooooozzzzinnnggg with chocolate chips

These were created in my sister kitchen. So chewy and delicious

Flavor Farm

I woke up at 7am yesterday and was itching to make some cookies so i searched through foodgawker and found an enticing snickerdoodle recipe. I got the recipe from Fat Fluffy Snickerdoodles | How Sweet It Is . They came out perfectly, crisp cinnamon sugar shell on the outside and a buttery, chewy pillowy, inside . mm mm mmmmmmm. Next up on my flavor farm baking list is some white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Image
